Acando's professional Project Managers leads many different types of projects, for example system development, quality assurance and process development projects. Acando also carries out pre studies, start-up and planning of projects, project audits and risk analysis. Some of our Project Managers act as Mentors or supporting Customer´s Project Managers. Many of Acando's Project Managers are also experienced workshop facilitators and have extensive skills in change management, risk analysis, process modeling or requirement handling.
Acando Project Managers are flexible and adapts the projects or programs according to our Customer’s models. We can use traditional project models as well as more agile models like SCRUM. We also are fully aware of that a model needs to be adapted to be efficient. Acando Project Managers have the required experience to perform a successful project or program execution.
We often take responsibility when introducing a project or program model for a Customer. To be successful when introducing a model a lot of experience is needed to adapt the adequate level of the model and to create suitable templates, routines and project tools.
Acando´s Project Managers often take responsibility in defining and executing project portfolio handling for all Customer´s projects. For example we often handle project status follow-up, prioritization of new project ideas, business benefits follow-up. Acando has great experience in setting up a Project Office and defining or performing the daily activities in a Project Office.
Traditional Project Management tends to focus on the project execution with goals such as time, cost and quality. Acando way of project handling also includes the important handling of the business benefits. Defining the business benefits, defining and committing the project receivers and set up the organization for the project benefits realization are very important activities to achieve success in a project realization.
