The Association for Project Management offer an accreditation scheme. To be awarded this coveted accreditation, organisations have to be audited for their commitment to project management professionalism. There are only 23 organisations that have achieved this standard and Acando are the only project management consultancy company in the world to be accredited.
This provides assurance to our customers and allows us to attract and retain the best project management talent in the industry.
If your current provider is not accredited, ask yourself what they’re scared of.
The association is a registered charity with around 19,500 individual and 500 corporate members making it the largest professional body of its kind in Europe. As part of its strategy to raise awareness and standards in the profession it is currently in the process of applying for a Royal Charter. APM's mission statement is “to develop and promote the professional disciplines of project and programme management for the public benefit”.
